Lower Antelope Canyon

Horseshoe bend
Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped rock formation of the Colorado River. It is located 10 minutes drive from lower Antelope Canyon and about 5 miles downstream from Lake Powell. The hike from the trailhead to this natural monument is 1.5 miles long.
What does a one day itinerary look like?
Start your tour between 9-10 am from Lower Antelope Canyon, purchase your tour tickets if you didn’t book them online and wait for your turn to go on a group tour.
After the tour is over, make your way to spot number 2 “Antelope Point Marina” stop by the visitor’s center to purchase a boat tour ticket and head to the floating restaurant to grab lunch.
Go on a tour of lake Powell. This tour will take you up Antelope Canyon on the lake. This is the fastest boat tour you can take if you are short on time.
Head to Horseshoe Bend (Spot number 3 on the map), hike to the famous rock formation and take in the beauty of the desert and the Colorado river and maybe an iconic sunset.
