I know..I know.. of course horses first…
The typical horse and camel rides by the beach are fun but not as enjoyable as private or small group horse rides. Believe me, it is a whole other experience.
Head to Ranch de Diabat , a horse ranch located at Douar Diabat n°6, Essaouira 44000, Morocco.
They offer horse rides, dromedary rides and Quad trips in the area. The advantage is venturing in a quite isolated beach and not having to deal with the crowds.
Go on an ATV ride
It is a lot of fun to enjoy a quad ride by the beach. I booked my ride with Ranch de Diabat and it was a plesant experience.
Indulge on fresh seafood
You are right by the ocean baby so why not feast on some fresh out of the sea seafood. Where to eat? Well, just head to the port and you won’t have to worry for a second.
Visit the old Medina of Essaouira
The old medina dates back to the 18th century and is a destination for a lot of artists and craftsmen to showcase their work of art: from colorful carpets handmade baskets, silver jewelry to pickled olives. There is something for everyone.
And did I forget the smell of Spanish juniper tree furniture? It is all over the place.
Relax by the beach
Don’t forget that Essaouira is a resorts city and it’s an attractive destinations for nautical sports lovers. Its beach is one of the best in the country.
