For the first time, I decided to take my tripod with me while backpacking the Mount Baldy Loop in Eastern Arizona.
My intention was to make some video content and apply some new photography skills, which I was very excited about.
Carrying the tripod was not a piece of cake but everything comes with a price right? And good content comes with a price too.
I took some beautiful shoots and since my videos were all filmed 4k, I easily went through my first 64 GB SD card and I remember changing it the second day of the hike.
Only to realize after we finished the loop that I lost my SD card somewhere in the trail. You can only imagine how devastated I was but still trying to not let it steal the joy and happiness I got from taking in this wonderful adventure.
Needless to say, I have posted my misadventure in some hiking groups in the valley hoping that someone might find it. Otherwise, I will tell myself that it will degrade and grow into a tree full of beautiful memories.
This is my misadventure this month. Have you ever experienced something similar? How did you deal with it? Let me know in a comment.
